San Sebastián, known as «the pearl of the Cantabrian», is a beautiful, elegant city, the maximum exponent of which is La Concha bay, where fine gastronomy is guaranteed by 18 Michelin stars.

San Sebatián's attractiveness relates to a lively Basque culture, unique to the world. San Sebastián offers: three beaches, three mountains, an island and La Concha bay (Best beach in Europe and Spain; and the world’s sixth best beach, according to the Travelers' Choice awards in Tripadvisor 2017-2018-2019). Experts also declared it Best European Destination 2018 on the TripExpert appraisal. It is a city on a human scale, with a population of 186,000, elegant, well groomed, peaceful and safe.

San Sebastián is also one of the destinations in Spain that attracts most international congresses, according to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), and it is seventh in the rankings for national congresses.
